MSU alum, advertising geek, travel junkie, social network lover, and music addict looking to interact, learn and share! My experience in the industry thus far has been focused on developing integrated marketing communication strategies for clients in a range of industries. I have also had the opportunity to gain experience in strategic planning, copy writing, research and analysis, public relations, digital marketing, website development, search engine optimization and new business development.
Currently I am pursuing my Master’s degree in Advertising at the University of Texas. Before that, I spent my time learning from at great group of insightful, zany and spirited ad students at Michigan State University who I expect have great things ahead of them. During this time, I traveled to Italy and France to study international advertising and PR, which cemented by insatiable addiction for traveling and experiencing foreign things. I was lucky enough to attend the Cannes International Advertising Festival, and am now plotting to return in my every spare moment.
My blog is as much of a continuing documentation of my continued learning as anything else. It started as a project for a digital marketing class in my last semester at MSU, and has evolved into the beginning of my own opinion column on what I’ve learned, experienced and generally figured out thus far.
